Meet Team Quiet Meadow
You do not have to show to ride with Quiet Meadow Farm, but if you do...we take your goals seriously. We have riders that have ridden with us their entire careers, adults returning to us after college, careers, and raising their kids, and adults getting back to their passion that maybe they had as a child but were never able to pursue it. We do not have a busy lesson program of true beginners or young children. The majority of our customers are teens-adults and adults over 50, making our facility the ideal place for those looking for a relaxing, peaceful, and laid back atmosphere without the hustle and bustle of a busy lesson barn.
We do not offer lessons without leasing one of our horses, or having your own horse. We do not have "school horses".
We do have a few horses for a variety of levels that are available for half or full leasing opportunities. We can also help you find the perfect match if you are looking to buy or lease and want professional guidance in your search. We have excellent connections within the horse world, including knowing reputable sellers both locally and internationally.
Lessons are offered Tuesday through Friday, as private, semi-private, and small groups, typically matched best to the horse/rider ability and schedule that works for you. Training and lesson packages are available. All boarded horses must be in a lesson and/or training program in order to board at River Run. We have riders that just take lessons as well as a group of serious competitors.
Our new and intermediate, or returning riders have come to us from different farms and greatly improved their riding and abilities with our teaching methods, focus on horsemanship and a proper foundation, and education along the way.
For our rider's that do show, we've had horses and riders with numerous year-end State, National and World Championships. Many OPHA, Zone, Horse of the Year, and NAL/WIHS championships and top 10's, championships at Devon, AQHA Congress, AQHA 3x World Champion, and making it to Harrisburg/D.C. Indoor Finals year after year.
Contact us today to discuss pricing, packages, and what Quiet Meadow can do for you or your horse!
