11 yr old 16.2 Imported Dutch WB Gelding. A dream Jr/Am horse! A powerhouse that is brave, safe, kind and forgiving. Located in Cleveland, Ohio USEF #5516309

Owned by a professional as her personal horse and loved by the amateurs who get to ride him. Was recently leased (in-barn) by an Adult Am. hunter rider trying out the jumper world and she had a blast on him in Florida doing the High Ch/Adults.
Apollo is incredibly sweet with a GREAT brain combined with endless scope and talent the bigger the fences get. Miles in the 1.20-1.30, schooling 1.30+ at home. He is always happy and ready to do whatever is asked of him. He will take you to the fences and not hold a grudge if you make a mistake; always taking care of his rider yet ready to kick it up a gear when asked. He has the BEST brain. If the trainer is having a rough day, he's the horse she saves for last knowing he will always give her a perfect, enjoyable ride. The saying in the barn is Apollo can do no wrong, and it's true! He's quiet and sensible. You can hack him in the fields on the buckle, play around in the Hunter Derbies/Equitation classes, or cruise around the jumper ring all in the same week. He started out his job in the hunter/derby ring. He's very comfortable and fun to hack, very well balanced with a great canter. You will always feel safe when you swing a leg over on this guy! No vices, easy keeper, sound, and has been in the barn since he was imported as a 5-year-old. He's ready to graduate being the Pro's horse and find a Junior or Amateur to take care of.
Sire: Santa Cruz (grand prix horse) out of a proven Dam: Arliena Z (1.40 grand prix horse), by Artos Z (World Cup Finals w/Mark Leone and numerous GP wins/championships) in Europe.
